KnitPro has an extremely broad international catalog, and our selection in Argentina already includes a large number of lines and references. We therefore do not necessarily import every collection available worldwide at the same time.
Every year we review the catalog, add new releases and evaluate additional families based on interest and demand.

If you are new to circular needles, there is one decision to make before choosing a line or material:
fixed or interchangeable circular needles?
Both allow you to work both in the round and flat. The main difference is that a fixed circular has permanently attached tips and cable, while an interchangeable system allows different tip sizes to be combined with different cable lengths.
If you have never used circular needles, are not yet sure how much you will use them, or simply want to begin with a small investment, our first recommendation is very specific: an 80 cm KnitPro BASIX fixed circular needle.
BASIX offers an excellent balance between price and quality, and 80 cm is probably the most versatile length to start with.

In an interchangeable needle, the tips unscrew from the cable. This allows different needle sizes to be combined with different cable lengths to build the circular needle needed for each project.

If you like the feel of wood and want an accessible entry into the KnitPro interchangeable system, BASIX is our first recommendation.
Wood offers more grip on the yarn than a highly polished metal surface, something many knitters appreciate while gaining confidence with circular needles.
It is an excellent entry point into the interchangeable system without starting with the highest-priced lines.

This is the second important decision.
With interchangeable needles, tip length determines which final circular-needle lengths can be built comfortably.
As a practical rule:
A shorter tip is not necessarily better.
For many knitters, a standard tip is more comfortable because it offers more support in the hand. Short tips make sense when the project circumference requires a shorter needle.
The final length of a circular needle depends on the combination of the two tips and the cable.
